This next series of photos illustrates the 'ideal' way  to put Patriot back in the bag.

That's how its done!

Great shot of Captain Jon...

This year's fingernails!!

Caption Captain Barry...

This mornings flight was beautiful and again we broke our record time in packing up. It did help for both balloons to land in the same field at Bates College and for us to get off of the field early. Regardless, both balloons were packed up and ready to get loaded into the trailer by 8:00 AM!!!

I blame the fantastic crew that we are provided with here at the festival.

Friday Morning

Can't we do this ballooning thing just a little later in the day? Just wondering...

Ray Fournier's balloon taking off on a wonderfully calm morning.

All unfurled and almost ready to fly.

Me, Teri with my new hair.

The top of Patriot's fuselage.

I love this shot.

Barry's second flight of the day.

Leaving the field. Now we just need to find a place to land these monsters!

I didn't get the splash and dash photos from the bridge... I repent and hope this one will do for now.

Ninth and Cook Street.

A beautiful landing.

The fastest deflation of Patriot yet!

One of our faithful crew members and his sister.
