Ok... Saturday night at Jackson, Michigan
was a RARE event. Not for the weather, but for the incredible photo
opportunities.
Jackson, one of our favorite events in the world! When the weather is perfect, it is even better. Saturday night was such a night. The sky was perfect, the sun was behind us and the chase vehicles moved out of the way quickly... So, on this page, there will be few captions but amazing photos from 3 different photographers. Me, because it is what I do, plus, we have photographs from Susan James who is the incredible DJ from the Big Dog & Susan Morning Show on K105.3 FM in Jackson, and from Crew Chief & owner of the special shape Octopus balloon, Judy Woller. Here is Barry with his little fire dance... the fire had spread rapidly, but who knew that Barry could move that fast? Twice! He don't need no stinkin' fire extinguisher.

 These are the kids I picked off of the field and told to RUN!!!!!!! to catch LaRistra! & The Little Pirate... They did... they stayed and they were AMAZING! They caught The Little Pirate and stayed 'til the end. They even helped pack up La Ristra! I cannot thank them enough. |
